About — Alexandre Godard
Alexandre Godard is a software engineer based in Montreal, Canada, currently working at Pod. He builds web products end to end — product thinking, UI, backend, data, and the infrastructure that keeps it all running — and prefers boring, well-understood tools over novelty for its own sake.
Projects:
Side projects that are live today:
- Forkestrate - A new take on recipe management.
- TicketNotifier - Get notified when ticket prices drop.
- MLS Ticket Stats - See ticket sales stats for every MLS game.
Each one is a small, focused product built and operated solo: TypeScript throughout, Postgres or Convex for data, Stripe for billing, and Vercel for hosting.
Stack:
React, Next.js (App Router, React Server Components), TypeScript, Node.js, Convex, StyleX, Postgres, Drizzle, tRPC, Stripe, Vercel (AI SDK, AI Gateway), Turborepo, PostHog, Trigger.dev, Chrome extensions, data pipelines, and AI agents.
This website:
godard.me is a deliberately small personal site: Next.js App Router + StyleX + Convex, deployed on Vercel. The terminal runs fx — Vercel Labs' tiny open-source coding agent — embedded server-side via libfx, with models served through Vercel AI Gateway. Every page is also available as Markdown: send Accept: text/markdown, or read /llms.txt.
